What is your ideal summer? For me, it’s definitely not where you need to go to the country or stay in a hot and stuffy city. The best option is rest and work at sea with accommodation. This makes it possible for 2-3 months not only to have fun and interesting time, but also to earn a good amount. To select the most popular destinations for students, I analyzed vacancies according to the following criteria:

• Basic requirements.
• Work/life balance distribution.
• Financial opportunities.

Let’s try to figure out which work for students for the summer will provide an opportunity not only to earn, but and relax.

Animator

Probably the most popular and in-demand vacancy. I want to say right away that work as an animator abroad is interesting, but you really have to work. Don’t think you’ll wake up, swim in the sea, do a couple of activities with the kids and go hang out at the club. Presented employment is exhausting, requires return. Popular destinations where the easiest way to find a good place with the best conditions / salary ratio are the main resorts (yes, these are work as an animator in Egypt or Turkish). What you need to know and understand about such vacancies:

• This activity is suitable for extroverts who like to spend time with children/people. If you are quickly annoyed by the noise, you need time to quickly adapt in the company, then it is better to consider another option, because the psyche will not withstand the load (believe me, I know many stories when girls and guys left in tears after a week of work).
• Get ready for some really crazy graphics. In most cases, you will only have 1 day off and 6 working days with every minute scheduled.
• Pleased with free accommodation and food. This makes it possible to save some of the money earned. You should not expect big earnings, but during the season many managed to save up for a new phone, laptop, rent an apartment for six months.

Working as an animator in Turkey requires really great returns, creative thinking. You will need to regularly come up with an original program that would definitely appeal to visitors of all ages. You will also need knowledge of the language at a free conversational level. Despite the heavy workload, many are satisfied, because in addition to employment, the presented work involves getting to know the team, constant creativity and a lot of impressions.

Hotel employee

You can get a job in a hotel in different positions. Resorts are happy to take students from the CIS countries because of … drumroll … cheap labor and a lot of enthusiasm. So, what should a student work as in a resort hotel, in addition to animation:

Rescuer.

For $8-10 an hour you will have to be on duty watching the pool/sea situation. Such payment is not found everywhere. Many hotels simply pay a flat rate. Rescuers have strict requirements in terms of skills. A plus will be the presence of a discharge in swimming, work experience earlier. Guys are given priority.

Admin.

Students are often entrusted with pool, bar or beach administrator jobs. Standard duties: issuance and cleaning of umbrellas, towels; control of payment for sunbeds (if provided); issuance and delivery of drinks ordered at the bar; monitoring the situation in the selected area and the behavior of vacationers. This pwork at sea is one of the most popular. Once you get used to the routine, you can even enjoy your work. You should not expect a large payment, but with free housing and food, the money should be enough for the goal. Please note that this work requires care. In which case, lost towels, deck chairs will not only be on your conscience, but also on your budget.

Waiter and kitchen assistant.

You will need to give out and clean dishes, perhaps stand at the distribution, wash the dishes, keep the kitchen in order. You can also be entrusted with the preparation of blanks. But I warn you right away that this summer job for students is very hard. Kitchen shifts often exceed 12 hours.

Cleaning Helper.

By the way, such vacancies are quite rare, but they do exist. You can perform the duties of both a cleaning lady in a hotel and an assistant, for example, sending clothes to the laundry, arranging cosmetic kits. You won’t be able to earn a lot, but sometimes quite generous tips come across.

Amusement Park Administrator

Do not imagine that you will immediately become the person who will solve the issues of important visitors. The administrator in the amusement park performs a lot of different assignments. The most popular work abroad for students in this direction:

• Sell tickets and tokens.
• Basic maintenance of simple rides and slot machines.
• Selling cotton candy, juices and other treats.

They don’t pay much for this kind of work, but there are often bonuses at the end of the season. The only negative is the cost of a visa or documents for official employment. Often it costs more than earnings in general.

Dancer/Dancer

If you move well, dance well, or have a dance education, you can try to become part of a show ballet at a hotel or get a job dance in a nightclub. If this is done through reliable representatives, then you can not worry about your safety. It is a common practice to leave to dance for the holiday season. Many dancers I know practice this. Features of working as a dancer/dancer abroad:

• Performances can be either in the evening or during the day. If you have an exclusively evening schedule, then do not forget that rehearsals will be held during the daytime.

A summer income option that is becoming more and more popular these days. In essence, you sign a contract for the whole summer and set sail. A cruise liner is a full-fledged city that sails along a certain route. The liner stops in ports, access to land is allowed. You can visit various places, see a lot of beauty, if … you don’t have a shift. On a cruise ship, you can find a job that is similar to those offered by resort hotels, restaurants, amusement parks, casinos. There are a lot of options, but also a lot of work. One of the main advantages is good earnings. Minus – a busy schedule, a lot of shifts, because of which it is often impossible to land on land.

Working in a nightclub

I will not hide it, this is the most favorite section of my story, because I once chose this option and did not regret it. In a nightclub, you can get a lot of positions: from a waiter (it was not my option right away), to consumation for talking). I chose consumption because My goal was to rest. I was not going to work until I lost my pulse, because I was going to the sea just to rest. Earnings became not just a pleasant addition, but helped to solve all my financial issues for the next year (and this is not a joke). Facts for those who have never tried themselves in this activity:

• This is NOT an escort! You are always in the same place, you are watched by several people from the security and at the bar. Even with the greatest desire of a man or yours to leave the club / bar – it is forbidden and impossible.

Believe me, men are very happy when there is a girl with whom you can dance together to your favorite songs and “go crazy”. Consumption is in demand and popular abroad. It provides for a number of prohibitions, which, by the way, are always on the side of girls. So, what is not allowed:

• Rudeness, insults.
• Inappropriate suggestions.
• Any touches, hugs.
• Intimate hints.
• Providing personal information (contacts, social networks).
• Leave your place of work (club, restaurant) with a man.
• Take drugs, alcohol (some establishments simply set a limit of 1-2 glasses).

If the establishment is located outside the hotel, then after the working shift the manager together with the security will take you home. If you are interested in a man, then he will definitely return to the institution, which will be a bonus for both you and the club. Cooperation also includes free accommodation and meals. Shifts can be customized. The main advantage is that during the days you are free. You can sleep, sunbathe, lie by the pool, and in the evening go to have fun. If you take a weekend, you can safely go on excursions, shopping (budget allows). Consumation is an alternative for a group of girls, for example, for girlfriends. Believe me, you will definitely have fun.

Why is it better to work with an agency?

Is it possible to do this activity on your own? Yes, but there are many “buts”.
