I want to share a very sad experience, which should warn others not to work with the bastard we will talk about below.
So. This was my first and so far last experience of working under a contract. I come from a different field, but I wanted to try something completely different, with the opportunity to go somewhere I had never been and perhaps would not have gotten to on my own.
Contract work for the position of hostess. Work at weddings and events, in this office Blue Sea Management, which is locatedin New Delhi http://www.instagram.com/blue_sea_entertainment. The employer provides housing, food, salary. I found the vacancy through the telegram channel work abroad. Initially, I was considering other countries and other vacancies. In general, I contacted a girl from this telegram channel Viva Models +79168774108 (WhatsApp number) https://www.instagram.com/viva_models_/, sent a photo, etc., after a couple of refusals, I received a message that one employer from India was interested.
They connected me with the employer. With this manipulator Ajayant Kumar Chhillar https://www.facebook.com/kumar.ajayant. He was interested in me not only as a hostess, but also as a costume designer (they have their own “production”). In general, things went well, sending documents, processing a visa, a contract, buying airline tickets. The deception began from the very beginning – they issued me a business visa (as it turned out only upon arrival – to work on itofficially it is impossible, and I am green in this, I do not know, first experience after all). The agent through whom this “good” employer was found, as she said, also kept silent about the truth about the business visa. Before arrival, they sent photos, videos of the housing where they would have to live – a house, everything seemed decent, neat. Thank God, I did not sign the contract before arrival. Upon arrival, everything turned out to be different from how everyone painted it. The house is a multi-story building with surveillance cameras, in which the employer himself, his family (mom, dad) live. One floor of the house is made for rent like a hotel, private rooms,. On the other floor live girls working under a contract, half of them on business visas and also did not know that it is impossible to work on a b. visa. The rooms are crammed with 2-4 people, you can forget about personal space. It is dirty and dusty everywhere. The promised food is like cattle feed – from day to dayday, for breakfast, lunch and dinner the same diet – rice, soup, flatbreads, vegetable stew, and sometimes chicken for lunch. To requests to change the menu, add meat, add less spices – “if you don't like something, buy and cook the food yourself, at your own expense”. Suggestions to give $100 for food instead of these “lunches” are also ignored: “Either everyone agrees, or no one agrees”. Obviously, it is not profitable for the employer to give 20 girls +$100 per month, it is much more economical to feed cheap food.
The work itself in terms of costume design. I was in for a severe disappointment – you can hardly call it a sewing workshop, since no one knows anything, can't even sew, half of the necessary equipment simply isn't there, there were difficulties even with buying tracing paper, which is needed for modeling patterns.
Main jobhostess – when you need to work is reported only on the day of work, in the morning around 12, so that the “slaves” could not make their plans for the day, the next day, go somewhere on the weekend. And so, waiting for work, you can sit for a day, two, three, etc. Although the employer has a schedule for a month in advance., but the slaves do not need to know this. If the “slave” wants to leave the house somewhere, then you need to tell the “slave owner” where you are going, what time you will return, otherwise a fine of $ 100. Supposedly you need to warn so that work suddenly appears, but in fact – for total control. You can be absent from the house until 20.00, after which there is also a fine of $ 100. Even on the shore they assured that work is only at weddings and events, but in fact they also put tequila girls to work, your wishes for this vacancy are also of no interest, whether you want to work with this or not – “We must, Fedya,”. Events are held not only within New Delhi, but also in other cities. When there is work in another city, managers either drive you by car, or you fly with them by plane, or go by train. A trip by car can take 3-7 hours one way. Often, departure is very early in the morning, 2-3 am, and upon arrival at the place of work, it doesn't matter whether you are tired or not, whether you slept or not, whether you ate or not, the “slave” must work, you are immediately put to work, and if you start to arise, one call to the “slave owner” and you will be “called to the carpet” with a possible subsequent fine. The attitude of managers is very often also like to slaves – they don't give a damn whether you ate, whether you are tired, etc. Their task is to get money from the customer after your work. According to the company's “rules”, you cannot go on dates, communicate with men, exchange numbers, etc. But, to worktequila girl, pouring alcohol into the mouths of drunk men is possible, strange. Right? Also, the “slave owner” loves to manipulate, threaten (to take away your laptop, your personal money, there were such threats to me personally and not only to me), to keep you in fear, that he has everything under control everywhere – with the police, even with embassies, therefore, having fallen into his “slavery” there is supposedly no point in struggling.
Regarding salary – the agent, while still *on the shore” assured that only a deposit of $100 is deducted from the first salary, and the remaining $500 at the end of the contract. The deposit is the visa and air tickets paid for you. In fact – the “slave owner” takes the entire $500 deposit from your first salary. If the contract is for 3 months, then the “slave owner” does not buy a return ticket. If the contract is for 6 months, then the “slave owner” should buy you a return ticket at the end of the contract, but this is not a fact, what will buy. Perhaps you will have to get out yourself, with your own money.
To sum it up, girls, and boys, do you want to get a new extreme experience – to be in slavery? Welcome.
And finally, a very important note – if you are working on some very unsuccessful contract, you are being deceived, they are trying to manipulate you, they are keeping you on a “leash”, threatening you, feel free to contact your embassies, demand help from them to get you out of a difficult situation.
